Restricting Starlink without warning while Ukrainians are fighting for their lives is such a dirty move.

EDIT: Elon Musk says that if Starlink was cut off, it was all on the U.S. government. He had nothing to do with it.

My six year old nephew has Trump Derangement Syndrome!

 My sister wrote:

It's definitely an attitude he's picked up from the adults in his life, but on the other hand his family has been doxxed and swatted for their work opposing various Trump administration and Republican Party crimes, so he comes by it honestly.

Considering how abstract our individual relationship is with the modern Presidency, I'm not surprised by any child's attitude to Trump.

Long gone are the days when the steward of our Executive Branch lived in the People's house and had a waiting room filled with randos who were welcome to bring their grievances to the highest office if they were prepared to wait.

Children today experience this cartoon president and our questionable tolerance of him sort of like he was a natural disaster. "Is hurricane Trump still blowing? Yes? Groan!"

Thing is, everything he said was true and Felonious Dump hasn't a clue how to respond.

Except to talk about mens asses. And for the party that's anti-gay and homophobic, Felonious Dump is obsessed with men's asses.

My son has a refrain of ‘What’s Trump done now?’
He also has
‘What’s Farage done now?’

So I think we have really killed his ability to tolerate BS.
Re the men’s asses thing. What is going on there? Vance also answered a
question about cost of living with a complaint that he’d only received one
question about a man’s ass.

Just bizarre

MAGA and the MAGA-adjacent Manosphere spaces are, charitably, phallocentric. The men are obsessed with objectively insane benchmarks of masculinity and the women have all gone under the knife to assume the Mar-a-Lago Uniface.  It's all genuinely horrifying. I worry terribly for the generation of boys coming of age during all this, and the women who will have to accommodate and excuse their upcoming man-child douchbaggery.

My 12-year-old son also regularly complains about the American president. We actually managed to get through the entire first term without him even knowing the word "Trump," but it's unavoidable at this point.
