Mike's Amazing World of Comics is a great resource. Mike was very thorough in gathering and presenting the sources of on-sale dates.
Mike has extensive data for the on-sale dates for Marvel's Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #1 of December 1985, including; Copyright Date August 6, 1985, Source: Library of Congress, Copyright Office 1985, Shipping Date August 6, 1985 (Tuesday), Sources: Amazing Heroes, #76, Marvel Age, #32, Comics Buyers Guide, #612 & Comics Journal, #101 and Newsstand Date August 27, 1985 (Tuesday), Sources: Amazing Heroes, #76, Marvel Age, #32 & Comics Buyers Guide, #612. Mike only calculated an on-sale dates when no other source was available.
