Fantastic Four: 65 Years of the World’s Greatest Comic Covers!

"VARIANT COVER BY JOHN BYRNE"

What's this, then?  Did I miss an announcement?

Could be just reprinting an old one.

Note that an upcoming issue of Absolute Superman will feature the first appearance of Absolute Metallo, and there is a variant cover that is a homage to JB’s Superman #1 cover.

I think Peter is correct, there's also a John Romita Sr. variant.

JB will share the cover artwork with (name them!) for the main cover.  And then there are also variant covers by JB and JR SR.

AND FF 15 will feature interior artwork by JB and several other great FF artists to celebrate the month of the 65th anniversary.

Looks rather amateurish.

That's the main cover, Peter.  There is (apparently) a Byrne variant cover.  I'm guessing now that it's repurposed interior art.  Unless they made a deal with a commission-holder, perhaps.

EDIT: That's what you said in the follow-on post.  Sorry.
