It seems I let a significant anniversary slip by last year.

Mr Edward Bear, commonly known as Winnie-the-Pooh, marked his centenary on Xmas Eve, 2025. Given how important he was to me as a child, I am disappointed with myself for letting the day slip by.

Belated Centennial greetings to the most famous inhabitant of the Hundred Acre Wood.

He would forgive the child still in you, JB!

I didn't realize until looking this up that, as Edward Bear, the character appeared first a bit earlier, in 1924. LINK
