Watched it earlier. Some odd word pronunciations in that video. Kinda made me wonder if there's some AI going on in the narration.

The Scourge was an interesting concept. But the reality of the character was a bit weird. Some of the characters eliminated by the Scourge were really interesting and could've been used more. Basilisk being one I could definitely have seen more happening. Death Adder too. Was Turner D. Century particularly worthwhile as a character? Not really. But he could've easily just faded into obscurity.

Mark Gruenwald definitely was a writer I enjoyed. His Cap run had some excellent stories. But the brief Scourge murder spree was only so effective.

Last month was the 30th anniversary of his death. I do wonder what Mark would make of Marvel and the changes to it and its expanded exposure of the MCU.

Barely a whisper of reality. I am really growing to loathe these “reenactment” style videos.

One troublesome element of posting on line (such as here in the JBF) is that the written comments contain no tone of voice.

Reenactments are even worse, since they invent tone of voice. And the sound of the individual voices. This thing sounds nothing like Gruenie.
