Yeah. I was thinking I could see a fair bit of JB's Dark Phoenix in that face...

Those two figures at the top are okay, but when I see how good DC
Direct's sculpts generally are, they're a bit of a letdown.

Here's what I'd like to see, with far less joints, which may be nice for
posing but make the figure much uglier and bizarre looking.

Here's a bust that's closer to what I'm talking about. This looks really close
to me, at least in spirit, to Kirby's Hulk.

I highly recommend the green Kirby Hulk from Marvel Legends. That's not
the best pic of the grey one. The actual figure is more bulky and Hulk-like.
It's my favorite toy, in fact.

Surely someone could make a Thor model based on that Collected Jack Kirby?

JB,

I really love your Wonder Woman collection.  Thank you very much for showing us updated pics every so often.  The first-lady of comics is my favorite!

I agree that that museum-quality statue has elements of your Wonder Woman... from the golden double-w that is flush with the top of the halter to the facial features, especially the eyes and mouth!

I wanted to know if you could refresh my memory as to what online retailer you use for your statues and figures?  Thank you in advance.

Arrived from UPS today. Only took a day to get to me from Sideshow. I'm heading out for the holidays, so I don't have time to set it up for display.

That's the Rogue I know and loved, not the chick in the trenchcoat.  Very nice addition.

My wife informed me last night I was free to fill my own Christmas stocking this year. I had a Captain America MUGG in my shopping cart and put it back.  I think I've been so weak around the Christmas fudge the last few days I can withstand everything else.  Or something like that.

I bought the variant version of this Hulk (mouth open apposed to clenched teeth) from the Face-Off series:

I would have much preferred this version now that I've seen the two. The thing I can't figure out is if this version of the figure is really that superior looking to the one I have (I'm not a fan of how dark the green is on mine), or if it's one of those prototype/showcase figure that looks better than the retail versions.
