So now for ICE agents to leave Minnesota, Gov. Walz has to turnover voter registration records.
I guess Minnesota and Maine are being used as training grounds for the feds to see what type of physical resistance will be met when troops are probably deployed to large metropolitan areas that vote heavily democratic.
If it happens, I'll say by October 20th. It will give troops time to dig in.
Looking more like November 3rd, 2026 will just be another date on the calendar........ 😞

I actually first heard about Pretti in real time - was checking in with a friend in MPLS via text yesterday morning when she heard about it mid-thread

This was about five minutes before the story hit the news and even then they were (rightly) cautious in reporting details.

Every aspect of it is outrageous, but the part that most sticks in my craw is that this whole operation in Minneapolis is for optics just like this.

I wonder if any of the DHS/ICE agents currently deployed in MPLS is aware that the President wants one of them to be killed, so he finally has the excuse he so nakedly desires to have to invoke the insurrection act and send in the military?

It was nice to see the Minnesota National Guard giving out coffee and donuts to protesters.As a Minnesotan, I'm proud as hell of my fellow Minnesotans. They've done a great job.

Yes it is Conrad and remember their oaths to the Constitution. Someone pointed out that the NG was wearing bright fluorescent vests to differentiate from the gear that ICE is wearing. Some were worried that the NG would either be just stationary or worse take side with ICE but as we all know it's the Civilians that were killed and they need the protection.

Looks like the Trump administration is trying to find an off-ramp for all the backlash. I’ve given up any of this bringing down Trump himself, but I’ll be happy if he throws Greg Bovino and Kristi Noem under the bus for a couple of approval points.
