Has there ever been a satisfactory Thing figure or statue? I can't recall seeing one.

My son has this one.  It's part of a set of four for the FF.

••

Depends on what you're looking for.  I have a lifesized bust of the Thing sculpted by the folk who did the appliances for the recent movies -- only this time they did it "right".  It really looks how Ben would probably really look.

There is also a very accurate Sal Buscema version, being fobbed off as "Alex Ross" in an attempt to separate the psychophants from their money.

CIVIL WAR was a dreadful abortion of everything truly MARVEL, but a rather nicely done Thing half-figure came out of it.

In other words, to answer your question, yes.

****

Likely just a typo, but still makes a nice pun.

Not a typo.  Began here on the Forum as a misspelling by a poster, but I liked it and made it part of ByrneSpeak!

I saw the reply about how to post my pics bigger. Unfortunately, it doesn't really help me. What I currently have to do is go to my photo hosting site, Smugmug, save the smallest sized pic available for a particular image, download it to my drive & then upload it here. If I even attempt an average sized photo upload to here, it is blocked. I see others posting bigger pics, so I'm confused.

I was wondering if he was going to consult you? What do you think? I know the mask of Doom is always a big sticking issue with you. Did they get it right?
