WAIT A MINNIT!!!

That is not the Nu52 Superman.

That's alright, I don't acknowledge your Nu52 as Superman EITHER.

I like the Sideshow Life-Sized Superman Bust and put in an order for one.  The Batman bust is not bad, but it's not as good as Superman.

Don't care for the face, but they DID get the "S" right!

That's a bit of a Don Draper Superman, if I may say.

Edit to add: I like both the Superman and Batman busts.

Everything works for me but the face. Much too harsh for Wanda.

X-Plus is apparently taking aim at Bandai in coming out with a more affordable version of their Ultraman vinyl figures:

$50 for a 4" figure doesn't seem too affordable to me.

Bill, your post has renewed my interest in finding another Ultraman '66
figure. This show is one of my earliest TV memories. I have always liked the
design of the suits and the fact that it has been running for so long is
another thing that amazes me.

Dwayne, there are plenty out there. If it matters- there were 3 different suits used in the show, with subtle differences. So, many Ultraman figures are often labeled A,B, & C.  B & C are the more common styles...

Nice sculpt, but he's so tiny for $50...

I dig the Superman kisser. It may seem angry, but it fits more with the original 1930s Superman, who was interested in nothing but Justice before Lois came along.

In a sense Lois was more the star of Superman comics than Superman through the '40s and '50s. She's the Lucille Ball of comics: shtick that didn't get old.

Indeed.  Unfortunately, X-Plus only does a very limited production run with each release.  Trying to get one of the larger scale figures twice that size can run from $100 to $200.  *ouch*  At least this way I can get an X-Plus Ultraman and Baltan for the price of one of those figures, plus have them fit in the limited shelf space I have remaining.

Not sure if it is worth getting the rest of that series though (with exception of a Mephilas).
