I must say I do appreciate it being explicitly referred to as Peter Jackson's King Kong because that everyone knows its NOT King Kong...

Heh, that particular point was made very strongly on one of the Toho monster toy-related forums, so I carried it over to here.  Pretty much in the same vein as calling the monster from a certain 1998 movie "G.I.N.O." or officially "Zylla".

I wouldn't mind getting an S.H.MonsterArts figure of the Kong from KING KONG ESCAPES,  as long as Mecha-Kong was also being done, but I'd have to pass on the "Kong" from KING KONG VS. GODZILLA.  However, there seems to be licensing issues for all the Kongs prior to PJ's version.

Hooray!!

Yeah, they led with the white hair.  That was the first thing I took care of when I opened the box.

The band is back together! I'm hoping for a Talisman and Box someday.  Maybe some villains.

While Sasquatch is just plain awesome, my favorite detail was this little surprise.  Alternate hands for the twins.  It's one piece.

I was amused to note they hedged their bets and provided alternate white hair for the twins.

Toys R Us has an exclusive 2-pack with Box, but it's the Madison Jeffries version. And it's packed with Heather as Vindicator.

Those are so not for me.  Bummer!  I'll hold out hope for Elizabeth, then.
