I got my first ever Jim Lee / Scott Williams page from Superman Unchained. Here is the link: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1077433

Rather than post the art here, I just linked to CAF page because there are a lot of "extras" in the additional images section as this was a video demo page on YouTube posted by Williams.  I'm not really a Jim Lee fan but Williams has my love and that's why I got this page.

Oh well, I just decided to post the page anyway for those who just want to see it without the bells and whistles in my CAF page:

How would I go about finding out if a specific artist does commissions,
without going to a con and asking the artist? I'm specifically wondering
about Paul Pope. I'd also appreciate if someone could point me to a
site that sells his original art, I see some eBay but am too new to this to
know if they're legit.

I've only ever seen one or two Paul Pope commissions in the last 5 years.  He has an official website that should answer all your questions.
