At the latest Paris convention, I spent some time watching Esad Ribic work and it was quite the experience ! Unfortunately, I was not able to get a painting commission from him, but I was happy to come out with a quick sketch of Thanos.

My last piece of new art to share for now, THE ATOM #2, page 14, a birthday present from my wife:

I quite enjoyed this take on the character and thought Trevor Scott did a nice job on the inks.  Glad to add a page from this series to my collection!

Great page, Joe. I really enjoyed the pairing of JB and Trevor Scott.

Excellent page, and harking back in a way to Gil Kane's original concept piece for the Atom showing him riding a dog.

Hey, remember four posts ago when I said I wouldn't have any more new art to share for awhile?  So much for that!

JACK KIRBY'S 4TH WORLD #17, page 22:

Joe, your JB "Fourth World" collection is fantastic!  I really love seeing the pages in B&W.

Thanks a lot Tim!  That's my fifth page from issue 17 I now own.  Not too shabby.  I also commissioned this cover re-imagining of that same comic from JB.
