"Did DC pass a law that Batman must ALWAYS be drawn crouching/standing/posing on a gargoyle? Sheesh."

Didn't you get the memo?

The gargoyle in the Dekal piece is a thing of beauty. Looks like I could reach out and touch the stone.

Don- That's what Ari likes to collect, and that's what Ari asks from the artists. It makes Ari happy. Did you think that all these artists were just doing Batman on a gargoyle by choice? Or do you have a problem with Ari collecting what he wants to collect?

As far as themed pieces go, I think Ari's got a really great thing going because it's a way to limit what the artists can draw (Batman on a gargoyle) while also being able to see what a very wide selection of artists can bring to the table using that simple descriptor. There's a surprising amount of variation, really!

Count me as a fan of Ari's "Batman on a Gargoyle" - themed collection!
Some really nice stuff there. That Bisley piece is no exception. Keep
'em coming!

If I had a themed collection of commissions, I'd probably go with
Superman with a bald eagle perched on his arm.

Another nice one Ari. Excellent collection. Do you display them all or rotate them?

Thanks guys. Really appreciate the nice words. My theme actually started here at the JBF thanks to a stellar piece JB drew of batman on a gargoyle.

Bill, I display some but not all of them and yeah I rotate them, so it's kind of cool.

Nice. I think that's the best way to go. Again, love your collection.

Ari, you can count me as another one who enjoys your collection theme, and enjoys every new commission you share with us.
And I hope we'll get to see a lot more !
