Gerry,

He inked over a blue print of the pencils by Hairsine, like he did with all the
interior pages.

I agree that he's a nice guy, too. He'll attend the Bristol Con by May. I wish I
could attend, but I'll have to wait till next year.

Crap. Just got an email from the gallery I ordered the Gahan Wilson piece
from. They sold it two weeks ago and "forgot" to take it off their website.

Byrne: Ugh... What a disappointment! Sorry!

I hate when art dealers don't update his websites! Don't you agree, Jim
Warden? ;-)

Changing the subject, Byrne, I only collect original artwork since two years
ago, and in all this time I saw plenty of Sky Masters dailies by Kirby and
Wood, but none inked by Ayers or Kirby. Do you know an explanation to it?

No, sorry.

By the way, Ferran --- 'Round here folks address me as "John" or "JB".
"Byrne" without a "Mr." in front reads to me as a wee bit rude, which I am
sure is not your intent!

••

Ta.

(When I was a wee lad in England, I could not quite wrap my mouth around
Birmingham -- the nearest big city to where I was born -- and somehow
warped it into "Burnifud", which, of course, my parents continued to call it
for years after!)

Ups! Sorry, John! As you supposed, this was not my intent.
