Today as part of the free comic book day, I picked up a sketch from Frank Quitely

Cheers Paul.

I sometimes think that Frank Quitely gets a lot of a bad press regarding his art, but I do like his style. Doesn't necessarily suit traditional American superheroes, but here in the heartlands, a man who started off spoofing national icons like the Broons is not bad in my book. Personally speaking, he is the natural successor to the late and great Dudley D Watkins (sorry if you don't have a clue what I am Talking about)

Gerry - I'd say steady - which is good for Ivor. Jamie Grant was also in attendance as well - working on the latest All Star Superman book with his laptop and Wacom. Interesting to see a modern day colourist in action. I'm looking forward to seeing the sketch you got (or have still to get).
