Fred Hembeck recently finished a series of four commissions for me. The piece below is the one of the commissions featuring the lead characters appearing in Fantastic Four nos. 251-275, which (of course) is one of my favorites runs in that title’s history. That Hembeck piece is awesome. I especially like the way he did Annihilus and the look on the Thing's face.
*edit* Nowlan, huh? Thanks for mentioning that. I knew the Batman piece reminded me of someone, and couldn't think of it. (I decided to ask for Batman because he's my favorite male DC hero and I liked the way Andy drew him on the cover for last year's con)
