With three HAWKMAN pages in my collection, it was kind of a "D'oh!" moment when someone asked why I had no SGT. ROCK. The real reason was that I had not been much of a ROCK reader, so it did not resonate for me the way HAWKMAN did. But that was certainly no good excuse not to have a page representing the work for which Kubert is perhaps best known. So when a page came along -- and with a gorgeous Rock face almost dead center -- I could not pass!
