Wow. Thanks for sharing the Ditko page, William. Made my day.

Uninked Ditko Hulk pencils?  Just as well you don't have it William.  You seem like a nice person and I'd hate to have to hunt you down. I guess I'll just have to see who wins the auction... ;-)

Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends...  the JSA vs. Spider-Man villains series!  This time featuring the first true superhero vs. the first true Spider-villain.

Superman vs. the Chamleon by Leonard Kirk (layout based on a JB JLA cover):

Gotta let a bad guy win one or two of them...  it's only fair... :-)

Great pages, Martin.

Were those purchased through John Byrne's usual dealer or somewhere else?

Chad-

Sadly, I think I've tapped out Jim Warden of most of the pieces I'm interested in. Those pages came from Gary Land's Comicartfans gallery, which was posted several pages back when someone else bought one of his FF pages!

William-

It's okay, sometimes I hate me too... :)

Brian,

That's a pretty good page, not only for the fact that he's put in the bunker from the shield generator on Endor.  Good use of blacks.  Looks like the style Garcia-Lopez used in Twilight.

The use of blacks is why I bid on it. I didn't even notice the Endor shield generator until after I had already won it. And I came very close to bidding on a Fred Hembeck piece instead.

What surprised me is that no one else bid on it, while some other pages I thought didn't look as neat (even though some actually had Herc on them) had multiple bidders. It also happens to be my first actual comic page; I almost bought a page from Shadowhawk from G.W. Fisher at Adventurecon two years ago, but didn't.

And I'd been looking for something from Ron Frenz for a while, so I am quite happy.
