Ryan- That commission is awesome!  You were right it doesn't get much more Alpha Flightier than that.

It's on my to-do list!  After Gerry started getting all those incredible Byrne redos from Fred, I wanted to really throw out a challenge without driving the poor man insane.

X-Men: The Hidden Years #17, pg 22

Pencils by John Byrne, inks by Tom Palmer

JB is one of my favorite artists--especially on X-Men. I love the dynamic layout here and the use of space--something about it brings the great Jim Aparo to mind. Plus, the characters just look so right as drawn by him--especially Cyclops and Marvel Girl: my favorite X-Men.

That Puck cover redo is fantastic!  One of my favorite Hembeck pieces I've seen!

Jason, you absolutely need a Hembeck piece!  I recommend a cover redo!
