A few months back I was surprised to find a Bob Brown drawing of Daredevil

and Mr. Joe Rubenstein offered to ink the piece for me

and also add in the Black Widow....

Very happy with the end results.

Supanova is our once-a-year sci-fi/comics con down here in Aus. We only get a few comics pros each year in Western Australia (tyranny of distance and all that) - this year we had Dave Gibbons (no sketches this year, dang it), Tim Sale (whose list of commissions was as long as my arm), and the lovely Nicola Scott, local girl made good with DC. She was happy to talk all day about the industry in general, Birds of Prey, Secret Six and Gail Simone in particular, and did this magnificent Black Canary study for me.

I would give my left nut to have access to the convention circuit you guys in the. States have. I guess I just have to convince my "ministry of home finance" that a JB commission is a necessity...
