I've heard of the 30 second Batman, but I've never seen a Wolverine quickie. Very cool. Begs the question what characters John could draw is 30 seconds.

My recollection (though I could be wrong) was JB charging $5 for head shots and $10 for full figures, with original X-men comic pages going for $30.

The first con I ever went to was a Motor City Con in '92. Marc Silvestri was there, about to launch 'Cyberforce' and was blowing out Uncanny X-Men pages for $20 and Wolverine pages for $25.

I bought two X-Men pages for a grand total of $40.

I can relate to 'if I knew then ... '

John - Go to his agent (Jim Warden) website called www.doasales.com   There you will find a section of JB's art for sale.  You will not find any original art pages from the comics he did in the $20 to $40 range.  There are some sketches close to that price.  Some really nice art on that page for you to consider.
