Got any high rez scans...I couldn't pencil if my life were on the line...however I do enjoy inking...this looks as if it could be fun.

I can also see why Marvel wasn't interested based on that last page scan...

the storytelling was too clear, and nothing seemed to be traced.

To be honest I could see why they were rejected, some years on I can see plenty of mistakes. I also heard they weren't hiring anyone at that time (98?).

After this I tried my luck with 2000AD who gave me a couple of scripts, but I got sidetracked with other illustration work and have no plans right now to get into comics - although the reason I scanned these is to apply for a Dickens graphic novel adaptation, which sounds fun.

Some nice Spidey pages, Dan. I can see some flaws there but a lot of potential so they could have given you a shot.
