if M****l decided to bring him back for anything other than a one-off appearance.

He's a member of X-Factor now. Doesn't wear a costume just regular clothes.

Quote; Andy Mokler "I realize this particular drawing could never be mistaken for
photo-realistic but that's a continual conversation I have with
myself. Why am I struggling to make a drawing as realistic and
anatomically correct as possible when the goal isn't for me to produce
a drawing that looks like a photo?"
Hi Andy! I think that what you are encountering here is an internal conversation that has to do with your abundance of choices. There are some artists who will not be able to learn lighting at the level you're writing about simply because they do not have your talent. That doesn't mean that they are unable to do professional quality of work, it just means that the number of concepts and level that they understand them will take much longer to grasp or that they may never grasp them as fully as you do. In some ways this is a blessing and a curse, simply because artists who can't see things the way you do aren't bothered by what you are describing. It makes sense that if you only have five choices, you won't have as much trouble refining your style as if you had twenty choices. I haven't seen much from you, but my guess is that your work will take time to mature more so than some others. But I would caution you to not look at this as a weakness. I can see the Steranko feel that you describe and that's a great thing, but it might not end up being the end of the road for your work. Keep refining what you like, and with honest criticism your vision of what you want will continue to become more clear.
Take care, Willliam McMahon

Found a few things from over the years on my hard drive, thought I'd put them up.
