I call this 'Eye of the Dean'

While Eye of the Tiger is commonly associated with Rocky 3, Jensen
Ackles - co-star of the television series, Supernatural- really made it his
own in the Supernatural outtake that I've tried to capture here. It was a
tricky sketch because I wanted to show him just coming out of the car,
rather than sitting on it, when he motions to his eyes. This entailed
combining three different stills (and a bit of imagination) into a single
picture. I'll admit it's not the most flattering picture of Jensen, but
nevertheless, I 'm pretty happy with it and I think Matt'll get a good laugh
when he sees it.

Cool drawing. Bill. You're improving with each one I think. I know that's not
the point of what you're doing, but still nice to see your progress as an artist
I would think. thanks for sharing these.

I don't think I inked or coloured it particularly well, but hey it's the sketch-book thread not the 100% perfect thread.

Some excellent stuff over the last few pages, I will take the liberty of inking and coloring some of that at some point.

You did a good job Dan! Way better than I could do. I still have yet to fool
around with inking and coloring much. I draw in ink sometimes but I rarely
try to ink my pencils. I never like the result. I would love to see something of
mine inked by someone who is half decent at it. That is an open invite to
anyone who wants to ink or color anything I post here. I'm sure it could only
improve my work!

Cheers Dave - for inking, this forum has really turned me onto the Pitt brush pen, which are hard to find in London. Ditto JByrnes (I think) tip on cutting the brush into a chiselled nib thing. But they sure don't last long, I buy them 10 at a time.

He was nice enough to send me a big copy of the file.

Thanks JPB! I dug your coloring of Mikaels Batman, so I gave it a shot too!

Wonderful coloring. Sometimes I really miss how old comics were colored, isn't that weird ?

So is the Pitt pretty much what everyone is using? I'll pick some up and give
it a shot. Thanks!

Mikael Bergkvist: are you sure you are not Alan Davis in disguise? You keep surprising me with your talent. That Batman piece was amazing.
