Okay this is not exactly from my sketchbook since it is on a small canvas board, but here is an alien in oil.  My first and only oil painting so far.

That Thanos looks really villanous ... Looks exactly like Thanos should look.

The watercolor piece is amazing . Did you study art or something ?

Thanks Arc.  No I studied Computer Science and I run a software company. 

I haven't taken any art classes but I read every art book I can get my hands on.  I haven't painted much this year so I decided this week to get back into it so I don;t forget how.

Great stuff, especially JPB. I took the liberty of embellishing one of your sketches onetime John, but it didn't turn out well, so I spared you.

This isn't finished (ie fiddled about with for ages) as much as sual, but this is the sketch-book thread, and I doubt I'll take it any further. I just love sketching Spider-Man when I need some time away from whatever I'm being employed to draw.
