Mal, that dragon pic is great! My broken glass effect is the separation between the spirit-world and the living-world. My protagonist "The Sapphire Spectre" is giving a smooch to her live boyfriend in her ghost-form through the planes.

Thanks for the kudos, guys. Arc, I use H or HB leads in a clutch pencil and ink  with Pitt brush and F pens. I've started using ShinHan Touch grey markers - they're kind of a poor man's budget Copic marker, with a broad chisel end and a fine point end. I've got three different greys, and a black for big areas. A lot of fun to use.

JT, that's a neat story telling technique. Like it a lot. JPB, liking the latest batch of stuff - nice Hulks and Thors.

Thanks again Mal!

So I was talking to my sister tonight and we discussed how the Riot Grrl movement was mostly dead and buried, so she coined the term "Nrrd Grrl" and I told her I'd do a drawing to match!

Mal: Thank you for the information. Most of my sketches are just pencil. But I've inked a few pages of my own ... I wish I had a larger variety of implements. That gray looks good, honestly I wouldn't know it it's the poor version or the rich one.

And a new sketch (violence free this time):
