James- very nice work! I love the "old school" style!

Vlad- That Black Canary is simply great! I love the b&w with gray tones, a very sexy piece.

Chris, you asked for prelim sketches; I found one of my last "new" piece: Thor vs. Hercules. I hope this helps. (for what its worth I also always go "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" for help and used it as a basis when I taught kids how to draw)

An "Enterprise"-era ship, done for a friend's Trek RPG. Made with Truespace (for the mesh), and PaintShopPro (for the textures):

Okay, guys, I stayed up all night at work and it took 7 hours to get this way...and I am going to write a story based on it! "The Knightcrawler..." pun intended! Here is Kurt and the half-human/half dragon Kraggarot on a world with two moons...forgive my scanner for lapses!

Vlad...love Black Canary! She never looked sexier in her life! Ollie Green would be panting! You couldn't ink Kurt and Kraggarot could you? Nah...probably not...

I can't ink!! And when I do I ruin my pencils!!
