I loved Space 1999, John, when it was on...Moon Base Alpha. The Eagles were my favourite spaceships. Preferred them to the X-Wings!

Darren...high-five on that one! Didn't Brian Johnson and Nick Alder do special effects? And they were part of Doug Trumbull's special effects team at one time? The Eagles were awesome in detailing!

Hmmmn, I always thought it war gerry Anderson that did the SFX on Space 1999!?

It was Brian Johnson...thought I remembered...Anderson's concepts, but bigger and better effects!

I just recalled an interview on the telly with Gerry and there was some intermitant shots of Space 1999. That was where I got the connection.
