awesome jpb...you color choices are so cool.

if you had told us in advance "i'm gonna post a magenta football player!" our
reaction might've been...

"uh...ok."

but after seeing it all i can think is "dude...that's cool"

so dude...that's cool.

Oh, I am JPB, still playing at my age.  Real nice, was that from Roy of the Rovers or Striker or some such?

James, thanks for the comments,  I like sequentials as much as the next person and hope to give some a try but as for making money with the drawings, not for me, I'm just in it for the fun and enjoyment.  Just a hobby.  Here is another Doc Ock.

STEP 4: I think I have my Tony Stark.

Still some job to do on Spidey's feet and costume.

Nice work, everyone! Thanks for the condolences, Darren but that flash project went south a few years ago. It was a lot of work. Basically I had to redraw my first 8 page story, almost panel by panel with no feathering. It was about 30- 40 8"x10" image an episode. I did three episodes. Some images could be used over and over abd some were just hands or arms. It ended up looking like a modern version of those old Marvel stop action animated shows from the 60's. I will post more of these pieces as I find them.

Thanks, Darren.  Recently (within the last couple of months) I did a portrait in gouache. I thought I'd present some snapshots of my process.

Step 1: Blocking in color and some blending.

Step 2: More blending and refining.
