Now that I'm thinking about this.
I believe I'm beginning to see small bread crumbs.
Hope I'm right.

JB, regarding your interior scene layouts. Do you typically see the scene in your head and go straight to your perspective lines, or do a rough layout and add your perspective lines to fit the scene?

I don't really know the story about the Magneto What If, though I think I did see it mentioned in an interview once... can anyone help me to find out more about that?
I'm happy with anything Marvelous that doesn't have Carnage, The Punisher, Cable, Rogue and Gambit and yet more dialect speech, or helium boobs and giant guns everywhere. And I'm not real crazy about Venom either. So what I'm saying is, okay, if the Impossible Man does turn up I can probably forgive that. :^)
I like The Beast being in The Avengers, hopefully with Wonder Man there as well, and he's also great as a liaison between the two groups!

Back in the late Seventies I had an idea, independent of Chris, for a WHAT IF? in which Magneto had called together the young mutants who had formed the original X-Men—a different take on the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. No more came of it than some character sketches and vague ideas about how Magneto was manipulating the kids. The cover was done as a commission, based on those character sketches.

What will appear here will have its roots in that WHAT IF?, but will not be “imaginary”. And it’s finally going to allow me to do something that should explode a few heads!

Reread some Hidden Years this afternoon, I had completely forgotten that Sinnott had inked the FF in those issues!

Uhmmmm....... Hard for me to have been scattering bread crumb in what you have already seen, since I only decided to make this official a couple of days ago! And, in fact, when it comes, this subplot will have no hints or clues attached. More like diving headfirst into the deep end of the pool!

JB, this this recent decision are we going to be fortunate enough to enjoy another 12+ issues of Elsewhen? You’ve mentioned stopping when you don’t have stories to tell and I’m hoping you have lots of stories in mind now that Jean is back from Jamaica Bay.
