It's been said a million times but Elsewhen is SOOOOOO good! More going on in one issue than sometimes happens in a whole modern arc. JB, I don't know how you will be able to top yourself for the special Giant-sized 25th issue! wink wink nudge nudge(and said with gleeful anticipation)

I, for one, have no idea where any of this is going and I love it! Didn't see this Kitty/Astra plot coming at all and have no idea how it will play into the larger picture. I'm also, frankly, surprised that JB has allowed The Legion of Super Aliens to play such a large part in this series. I mean, it makes sense considering the self-imposed ground rules of the series, but I don't know that I would subject myself to writing and drawing characters that I didn't particularly enjoy for quite so long. In any case, a new page with a cup of coffee is a great way to start my day!

Today's page has the story going in at least half a dozen different directions in my mind. I look forward to seeing which (if any) of those thoughts are close to being correct!

Man, I've been enjoying the ever livin' heck outta this series! Its entertaining and most importantly, fun!
Its funny how relaxed I feel reading this because I trust the creator. That's something lacking in todays comics industry. I feel the X-Men (and Avengers and FF in prior issues) are in good hands even if bad stuff happens to them.
Thanks for this series, JB!

Man, Cirque de Soleil wishes it could choreograph something as dynamic as that Archangel / Nightcrawler brawl.

Getting buffeted by wings that big and strong is no joke. People have been killed by geese and they're maybe a tenth the size and strength of Warren's wings.

Even with a mutant physiology, Warren still has some powerful wings to fly. Getting smacked around by them would daze just about anybody riding on his back. Pardon the pun, but I would parrot what William said about never even thinking about Angel using his wings to strike someone. It definitely works.
I'm very curious to see how Jean can help with Kitty based on today's page and glad Kitty and Astra aren't a blob of organic matter like something out of John Carpenter's The Thing. =)
*** edit to clarify which characters aren’t a blob of organic material.
