I enjoy both spots. This is the place to go if you want to hear JB's thoughts on something. The other location is spot to go if you want to discuss JB's art on a larger scale.
This site is a not known for easy accessibility or connivence and unfortunately is slowly bleeding out members over time. The other location provides users what this site does not. Thankfully we have both.

I joined the FB group four weeks ago to get more opinions on Elsewhen pages I ink. I wonder if posting inked Elsewhen pages should also be done only here on the JBF. I also belong to another FB group devoted only to traditional inking.
I always come to the JBF to read, view and comment on the pages John posts. The FB group does allow speculative discussion about Elsewhen which should be avoided at the JBF discussion threads.

Just to be clear...
Does the Phoenix entity require a host (whether "real" or not) to continue its existence?

Does the Phoenix entity require a host (whether "real" or not) to continue its existence? No. Its been established that the Phoenix Entity/Force existed for a long, long time without a host. (We dont know if it ever had a host or hosts prior to Jean.)

When Colossus is in metal form, are his bones and organs similarly transformed?

When Colossus is in metal form, are his bones and organs similarly transformed? Yes -- otherwise his leaps from great heights would produce an empty metal skin with all the soft parts gooshed into his feet!

Whew! Professor X caught a lucky break there!
And again, I want to commend you on how you're apportioning "screen time" during this series, JB! I can easily imagine how under someone else's hand this story might become WOLVERINE AND HIS UNCANNY FRIENDS!

The speed effect coming off of the Surfer in that last panel - Dang! That's slick. It feels like it's pouring off him like water.
Loved seeing Lilandra pull Charles' fat out of the fire, but I'm guessing it was more about coveting the Phoenix than saving her boyfriend. That's gotta hurt.
What does the Phoenix gain from hosts? Is it access to emotion or some kind of focus for its' power?
