No one draws the effect of Nightcrawler teleporting better than you.

What an excellent page! Love the angles and shading, plus Kurt's hands and the detailed contents of that garbage can! A toe-to-toe battle with Magneto is always exciting, but the visual business of a simple moment like this elevated thusly is similarly satisfying.

Terrific page. I'm glad you had the cop choose to go for his taser rather than his gun. And the cop's report to dispatch was BS, indeed, the sort of stuff cops use to justify dragging in someone they feel like arresting.

Well at least some people recognize Nightcrawler as an X-man rather than just a "demon". That's progress of a sort...

Stephen - Tasers are equipment in the Elsewhen universe. Standard? Not necessarily. But it might be excess exposition for the policeman to say, "Got a mutant - I wanted to use the new Stark Experimental Taser that we're testing on patrol, but he got away."
This isn't the real world, so we can have fun... right? FUN, DAMN IT! I'M HERE TO KICK ASS AND HAVE FUN, AND I'M ALL OUT OF ASS!

Doesn't really matter. ELSEWHEN takes place now. (unless I'm not understanding your point, Stephen)

What a stupid comment. Police departments have been using Tasers for years.

Why is it so hard for some people to grasp that the stories are taking place in the present? And, yes, that means that when Jean was piloting the shuttle that went into Jamaica Bay, that was three years ago from now! It's not rocket science!
When you read a Spider-Man comic book published this year, Peter Parker is not supposed to have been a teenager in 1962, and the Fantastic Four you read in their latest comic did not get exposed to the cosmic rays thay gave them their powers in 1961. Bart Simpson is not portrayed as being middle-aged, and Dagwood and Blondie are not over 100 years old in their comic strip today.
It's not freaking rocket science to figure this stuff out.

Blondie is pretty hot, actually. Multiply told tale: just as I was getting into Marvel, circa 1975, someone, Len Wein I think, finally fed up with Fans wanting dates and times attached to everything, declared that it had been SEVEN YEARS since the FF went up in their rocket, and it would ALWAYS be seven years. The rest of the MU would be prorated accordingly. Almost immediately one of the writers for a popular zine squeaked he really couldn’t accept that all the stories were taking place in 1968. And it didn’t take long for others to try to turn it into a sliding scale. “Well, if it was seven years in 1975, by now it must be....” sigh
