The Phoenix force is so powerful, it's even shaking loose my nostalgia for the original published story!
This is fantastic!!

I do like how you communicate the direction of the battle by your frayed depiction of the Lilandra Phoenix. Let's hope the Professor can save the Jean copy!

This series is also making me wonder how JB would handle some of his old Alpha Flight and X-Men stories artistically if he were to redo them now...

I have a guess and no one to tell it to! Oh, well. I'm probably wrong anyway. I have been so far. Can't wait! I'm 11 again.

Spectacular page!!
You know, I haven't really had any desire to see Elsewhen pages in color, but this one I would not mind at all.

Today's page is entirely wonderful - the second panel of the merged/combined eyes is just superb.

I really hope we get to see Jean, the real Jean, give both the Phoenix and Lilandra their due when this is all said and done.

My favorite panel on this page is Prof X and Jean's "shared" eye.
There's just something undeniably cool about that image.
Love it!

I, too, am totally blown away by all this, and totally taken by surprise. What an exciting and unpredictable ride this has been!
