Our heroes, to paraphrase MCU Tony Stark, "have a Jahf!...And a Pedro!..and..."

Just like evil doppelgangers to walk into a situation and think they're the big man on campus, just to get tuned up by the new kids!

Clever tie-in to X:HY. Teri and Ashley are probably not even aware of the Beast going furry, so his appearance would not look 'off' to them.
And I like Jahf remaining. It dawned on me that he's JB's very first creation on his X-Men run, just a couple of pages in!

Logan in panel one of today's page reminds me of praise from Siskel & Ebert on Nicholson's performance in Prizzi's Honor: "A man who can act with his back." There's so much well-observed body language in that stance.

Seeing that Ashley recognized Alt-Beast has me wondering.
Does the world at large know that the furry Beast was once a member of the X-Men before joining the Avengers?

This M-Men story is really great so far.
Mr Byrne, a little question. I don't know if it was discussed before but I can't remember if Wolverine had memory issues during your run. Is that the case in Elsewhen?

The question, has Wolverine ever been seen drunk?
Uncanny X-Men Annual #11 (1987) opened with Wolverine walking back to the X-mansion, drunk. Chris Claremont and Alan Davis.
