Did a quick check and didn't find any threads on this, so my apologies if this has been posted previously. Also, my apology on the "suit" reference -- I know it should be "uniform," but the article uses the term "suit."
Enjoy:

Isn't it only a uniform when other people are wearing it, too? So, the X-Men matching uniform eras. The unique sets of clothes are probably costumes, and a few of those are (Drive-By Truckers forgive me) just plain old outfits.
That's a really neat page! Thanks for sharing!

Isn't the "brown" costume wrong? shouldn't the mask be black?

Isn't the "brown" costume wrong? shouldn't the mask be black?•• Apparently they went with the Paul Smith version. He had a habit of occasionally rendering the mask as brown -- which is basically a literal interpretation of the "color not found in nature" of my design. The dark brown parts of Wolverine's costume I drew as black with brown high-lights, extending to solid black in the mask. Also on the boots. Incidentally -- on the question of whether this is a "suit" or a "uniform", I find "costume" is perfectly acceptable. To my mind, there is only one character who wears a design uniquely his own yet should still be referred to as being in uniform, and that's Captain America.

The article overlooked the outfit worn in the "X-Men" movie sequels. There is a difference between the first and second films.
Edited to note: In fact, the outfit shown on that site for the first movie is actually the outfit for the second film.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I always liked the brown one the best, set him apart from all the other superheros who were in blue, red, yellow, black or green. Who else wore brown?

I can't think of a worse version of a superhero than "Noseless" Wolverine.

Other than the sleeves, the Fang costume is my second favorite behind JB's design. That Fang costume would be totally bitchin' with no sleeves.
