True, but I'm not a huge fan of the poses used for the Silver Surfer and Iceman -- plus, there are a LOT of customs out there that use those figures as a base, which is motivation enough for me to locate some other source as a base.

Problem with using Captain Britain as a base figure is twofold. First, he's
short. Shorter than Captain Britain should be, and much shorter than most
heroically proportioned male superheroes should be.
Second, it's a dull pose! The Surfer and Iceman at least have some gesture
happening.

Good points, JB -- I can't really judge the height aspect yet because I only own the work-in-progress Captain Britain figure and an Ulton figure, and Captain Britain measures up well to Ultron.
As for the pose, I agree that it is pretty dull -- I've even considered cutting off an arm an re-positioning it in order to make it a little less dull, but I think the pose will work well enough as-is for what I'm working on.

If you want that pose with a more "heroic" build -- and a taller figure --
consider the Angel. The hair could be removed about as easily as Captain
Britain's boots and helmet, I imagine. Without the wings, I considered him
for Guardian, but decided on the Surfer as he presented less effort.
