a lot of the characters that I really don't care about are some great sculpts.

*************

Yeah, and I've bought several of them just because of the sculpt.

As I noted above, www.midtowncomics.com has several older figures that can be tough to get.  I'd jump on Cap, Wolverine and Doom if you can.

Thanks for the heads up Ryan.  I'm on it.  Their site is down right now.  Hmm.  I'm trying to get Galactus.  One on eBay right now, see if I can get it.  Hard to find right now.  If I can't get that one, guess I'll look at some shows or just keep eBaying it.

The EM blog has confirmed that Fin Fang Foom will get the Mega treatment, due out in February.

The HeroClix Fin Fang Foom is so damn near pefect (albeit, more JRjr's than JK's) that I'm likely to pass on the EM version. It would, after all, be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off scale. Or weigh 500lbs. Either way…

Received today Xavier and Lilandra, Gladiator and Nighthawk. Nighthawk is
the first I have received with major shipping damage. Head and cape
detached from body, left hand detached. Nothing Crazy Glue can't fix --
and given how many of these I have bought, including the DC items, I'd say
this and Aquaman's broken trident are but small sacrifices!

I'll post pictures as soon as I fix Nighthawk and repaint Lilandra.

I am statue illiterate so forgive a naive question.  If you receive a damaged statue can you not return it or is it too much of a hassle to bother with it (cost and time wise)?

I consider it too much hassle!

Anyway, here are the newbies. Since the detached head and cape made it
easy to access the hard to reach places, I decided to correct Nighthawk's
colors, too.
