After learning about them on this forum a few years ago (I don't know whether to thank or curse you....), I've been picking up both Marvel and DC figures when they did ones that were truly "classic" and were characters in which I have interest. I'm kind of sad to see them stop, but I haven't been buying many recently, mostly because their definition of "classic" and mine have been getting more and more misaligned over time. However, as Ray pointed out, it'll be nice to be able to figure out how much shelf space I need to display them!

Well, things get cheaper again for me. Now I'll only be buying JB comics and the occasional comic that might catch my eye.

However there are statues and commissions...so maybe it doesn't get cheaper after all. Eaglemoss had a pretty good run over all, RIP.

Depending on the sculpts, of course, I can see myself picking up Thunderbird, Avalanche, Mockingbird, Sebastian Shaw, Swordsman, Trapster, Firelord, and maybe Vance Astro, Terrax I'll think about, and possibly Giant-Man.

It frustrates me that we'll be seeing characters like Mojo, when they have NOT done true classics like the Red Ghost and his Super Apes.

Exactly..still quite a few Classics that could have been done. I was really hoping for the Original X-men and Havok in his original costume.

Anyone know if someone is doing customs on this line.

I finally started buying these, and now I discover they're ending the line! Oh, well. I guess my addiction won't be too destructive.

Anyone have a good source for picking up the older ones?

Depending on how steady your hand is, Havok is fairly easy to customize. I used Iceman, cut off his ice dagger, and painted his suit and face. Then I did the concentric circles on a small piece of paper I glued to his chest, and cut the headdress out of aluminum foil.

If you poke back thru this thread, you may find the image I posted.

Joe,

I haven't been able to find a single source lately that has a good selection in stock.  You'll probably have to get a few here and there, which, unfortunately, drives up the shipping costs.

Good luck! Report back if you find any deals or somewhere with a good selection.

I like your custom Havok JB. The headdress looks great.
Any thoughts on this Bowen?

I have thought about picking up the Alpha Flight figures from this line... but they didn't end up doing the entire team, did they?

And by "entire team", I mean...

They did Guardian, Snowbird, the twins, Sasquatch & Puck.  Shaman is in the works and will be released before the line ends.  No Marrina.
