Hello All! Just acquired a holy grail of mine I have been searching for for the last three decades, she arrived this morning. Was Happy to finally put her on one of my shelves. Can't wait for the new Man of Steel JB statue in March

Found a robot dog on Amazon. About Beagle sized. $4000, one year warranty, one hour battery life, no returns. Uhm, nope!

JB, did you have any input in the creation of the new Man of Steel statue coming out in March? Thanks!

Nope. Didn’t even know it was coming. This is the second time DC has promoted a John Byrne Superman. The first time had an Alex Ross body. Lord knows where they got the head from. I made them take my name off it.

I am hoping it is a decent piece, I've learnt over the last 40 years of collecting to never judge a piece until you actually take it out of the box. DC and Marvel have had more then their fair share of mishaps.

The perfect gift for the John Byrne fan who thinks his work needs a lot of "correction."
It would almost make sense to market it as the "Nelson" Superman.

The face is way off. It looks like they tried to put a Garcia-Lopez face on it and failed!!

I'm beginning to think that Jim Maddox is the only person that should be allowed to make Byrne-based statues.
