Thanks -- if I knew I could paint busts like that, our Superman would have been collecting dust on our shelves by now....(lol)

I think the cape is too dark - but it works since the primer darkened the red of his tunic a little (actually adding some of those artificial shadows without me doing anything) -- the blue dried a lot darker than I expected AND was probably darkened by the primer, too.

NOTES that I need to keep in my head for my next paint job.

Yeah, in about 10 years, when all my kids are off doing their own thing, I'll get back into painting stuff on a regular basis.

i noticed it and the Gargoyle statue are listed as "Randy Bowen's" and not Marvel.he seems to be launching a new line here.
