~~~~~Always been nervous about joining in the fun here.....
Don't know what your nervous about, Marc.  I think it looks great.  Lots of us here are just learning as we go and flexing our creative muscles.  Keep the stuff comming!
After all that, and all I have to say is that I wear a Size 16 shoe.  So I don't get to choose. :-(
PS.  THANK YOU for your help.  I look to the best for help, and that's why I came to you. I will be going back to your lessons again and again, and not because your Donna is a hottie.
Marc, I dig your Carol Danvers.  I chose not to say her Super Hero name because she keeps changing it.
Second color job.  I'm pretty mediocre about it.  Don't hate it, but not happy with it.  I borrowed some good ideas from James, although I think we had the moon idea at the same time.
Need suggestions.  Let me know what you think.  Art by our own talented Justin Wasson.
Edit because the moon was not finished.
Thes aren't sketches and they aren't new but they're on my host site, I was messing around with photosuite 3 when I first got it and I found these great pics of the old batman serials so I beefed them up a little and added some things like the old batmobile from models and stuff.
I also used pics from the michael keaton batman for the capes and even some adam west stuff here and there, I have a few more on my host site under the clickie in my signature.
Very Cool Darren! The first direction composition line is a great tool. Thanks for showing some of your process.
Here's an homage to kirby's Hulk I did.
I did it in pencil with a blunt shading stump.
