Thanks guys,

I don't know about rocking but I might manage a polka or two. LOL

Vlad

And following all the cool artpad drawings (Gerry and Bill on this page
alone,) I finally decided to do one.

Third color job for me.  Artwork by our very own Lovely(?) and Talented Chris Jones.

And for the record; this illo didn't need color - it looks fine in b&w.  But what the heck?  I need the practice...

Suggestions and comments?

I haven't been through this thread and was lucky enough to fall on this last page.

I have had a look at the link for artpad. It is a great stuff. Thanks to the person who put it on here. In my case, I will say Gerry on the top of this page.

When I have time to do one, I will send the link.

Fellow JBF member, Gordon Somers, was around here for a visit at the weekend past with wife and children in tow. I manged to thrust a drawing pad into his lap during the day and he fired of a quick ten minute sketch, which I then inked.

His computer isn't working at home, currently and therefor his only access to the board is through the computer he uses at work (which ofcourse he only does during his lunch break, right! ;-)

Gordon and I go way back and used to meet up regularly for "draing nights" where we'd sit and draw from like dinner to supper! Ahh, memories of childhood. No worries about tax, meeting mortgage payments or World affairs, like World Leader incapable of retaining enough focus to steer a bike but still have his finger on the button and lead a War on Terror. I sleep soundly in bed at nights these day;-)

It's very nice work dude, you did some terrific lighting. The only
suggestion I have is to carry over some of the that yellow highlight you
have on his arm, to other places like the shoulders, hair, etc.

Cool one Darren,

It's good to see some new work from Gordon, been a while since I've
seen any of his work. BTW is everything OK with you and your's since
this morning?
