Nice figure workouts Mr. Woods! A cartoonist friend got me going on some classic instruction books way back by Jack Hamm (which I bought paperback reprints of) and his photocopying of pages from Andrew Loomis... I've still never seen anything better; although Burne Hogarth and John Buscema books are also nice to have, especially Hogarth for shade and light. Too many people want to get to the finished stage too quickly and haven't done the work on the underlying structures. They could teach in schools like they used to but it seems so hard to find anymore. It's really bad when you have people learning to draw from copying someone's comics who learned to draw from copying someone's comics who.... etc. this is why Japanese cartoons look like crap so often these days, generations removed from Osamu Tezuka.

I owned the books you mentioned in the past, but with
all my moving around in life, and losing things, I don't
know where they ended up.

From 2002 I believe, added the logo sometime later in
photoshop.
