Reading through the archives I have read that John Byrne has said he copied Neal Adams style as a young artist. Does anyone know if John Byrne has talked about how he was able to develop his own style?
I have also read that other artists in this thread went through the same thing, parroting Byrne's style as young artists, and was wondering how you guys also found your own vision..

I think i read somewhere that he realized he was never going to
be Neal Adams and just threw himself into his work.
Its easy to develope your own style when you work on a
monthly day in and day out. Thats one of the great things about
having a steady gig, you end up getting better.

You do, dude. We all touch pen to paper right?...Okay maybe not Vlad.
[All point and laugh at Vlad with nothing to show for his efforts except less crap lying around his studio floor...damn!]

Yeah, I wish. Started the digital thing too late. Can't even draw in my
studio space anymore. LOL

Thanks, it's all me. And she's actually a character from G.I. Joe, so I don't
think Big D owns her..... unless..... poor artist my ass! No wonder he lives
