Vlad has been a constant thorn in my side....wait wrong speach;-)
Vlad and I have worked together on various images on and off for quite a while now. I may well be presuptious but I'd argue that Vlad and I combining on artwork is a great advert for the -positive- effect that the internet can have.
Not only have I gained a great inker but a kindred spirit, someone to learn from and a good friend. Due to our geographical locations there would have been very little chance of us ever meeting and collaberating as we do.
Vive le Internet!
Another thing Vlad and I benifit from is the candid nature of our emails about our work. Vlad isn't shy about saying or suggesting things about my work and we both take these comments for what they are, suggestions and not slander. Too many times people get too precious about their art.

Well, thats what is all about. The work speaks volumes.
I would seriously consider putting stuff together now more than
ever Darren, not just comics stuff but for all manner of
commercial outlets. Honestly comickbooks are ok if thats what
you want to do but the commercial/advertising routes are more
lucrative and in my opinion more creative.
My 2 bits.

I second Anthony, suggestion Darren. You should have a career in commercial arts. The payoff potential is so much more lucreative in a shorter period of time it takes to do the work than in comics.

I've no doubt! I've just never taken, what is effectively my passion any more seriously as a money earner as say sticking $5 on a 100-1 horse at the track. Something that would be nice if it happened but not something I'm prepared to loose my house over chasing-LOL.
