Please don’t invent your own reasons for why I have or have not done something.

I'm just curious why they aren't coming here to ask questions... it's a direct source to the subject.

Well the journalists to come here to ask questions, they would need to become members. I suppose that perhaps they find it a waste of time/energy for only one occasion because after that, they won't need to visit the Forum again!

After all the tall tales they've heard over the years about him, they probably think John Byrne is going to eat them like the Big Bad Wolf they think he is. All joking aside, it does seem weird how many websites credit the wrong secondary sources rather than the official John Byrne one that comes up first in a simple Google search. How lazy can "journalists" be?

Makes me wonder what sort of questions they’re planning to ask, that they’d expect me to become all wrathful and vengeance seeking.

The quality of coverage in this realm of entertainment is pretty dire, and the fact that bringing questions directly here represents some kind of threshold is evidence of why.
It takes at least a small portion of guts to be a decent journalist. Coming here to ask questions doesn't require any. And yet...

The fact of the matter is the majority of these people are as much true journalists as I am a NASA astronaut. In other words, not at all!

This is interesting. I'd seen earlier versions of Nightcrawler, by Dave, but this is the first time I've seen the typed description of the character. Fuzzy elf indeed!!The "X" on his costume is obviously a later addition, based on the description in the copy. Still a member of the Legion of Substitute Heroes, there. Intrigued by the idea that he "appears and disappears", but no reference to long distance teleportation. The "invisible in shadow" bit was there from the start, apparently, tho it took a while to show up in UNCANNY. With so much baggage, I wonder how Nightcrawler was even considered for the X-Men, where each member of the team was supposed to have AN extra power/ability.

Nightcrawler, as originally imagined, would have seemed more vicious than even Wolverine. At least, his sense of humor would have made it appear that way.

Had a nasty thought. Assume this series happens, and to make it easier for the more mini-brained readers to digest, we establish it as a parallel universe (as mentioned before). How long before someone insists on doing a "crossover"? That happened at DC, with GENERATIONS, even tho the title was clearly labeled as an "imaginary series".

If I were in your place, JB, I'd make it part of the deal for returning to Marvel that such a thing cannot occur with that series. I realize, though, this would require Marvel to actually honor such a deal. Hopefully, the current regime is better at that than the past "Powers That Were."

Cool, hadn't seen that.
Stayed true to the "but, doesn't do it often" teleporting early on. I don't think he averaged once an issues those first 7 or 8.
