Really nice work, Eric. You're making it hard for me to want to take a crack at this myself!

Can't wait to see the rest of it.

Mark, I won't finish this one. It was an experiment and I was using a glass top coffee table as a make shift light box. There are too many inconsistencies with my feathering and other areas that make me cringe. I'm going to try some of the other pages or take the time to get some pencils printed on bristol.

It is beautiful, though, Eric.

Apparently all my moaning and groaning about inkers who redraw my pencils has fallen on deaf ears.

Okay, so I'm having a little visit from my old pal Mr. Insomnia. I've just spent half an hour or so in the Gallery clicking thru those DOOM PATROL pencils, comparing them to these imaginary X-Pages I have submitted for your approval. And I have come to a conclusion.

They won't do.

Oh, sure, they're fine. But not fine enough. I can do better. I have done better (DOOM PATROL). And thru the next week, I'm going to have to find time to create more imaginary X-Pages, but this time with those DP pages squarely in front of my mind's eye.

HUZZAH!!

Ah, new X-Men pages from JB. Of such things dreams are made (not JB's clearly as he's still awake)

So excited, I have butterflies!

Inspiring to see a great, established artist find ways to push him/herself further.
