According to the package Michael they are made from 100% recycled awesome.....................or in other words, hard plastic.

I was messing about on DC Direct:

I'm a fan of the barbarian Hawkman thing. I like these, even though the first may be too musclebound. The second has a nice physical sword and sandal feel to it.
