This statue, I found, is the closest thing to Kirby's bombastic drawing style !

Those DC figures are supposedly modeled on George Perez's drawing style. Confusing, since to the best of my knowledge, Perez has never had any association with the Goodwin/Simonson Manhunter.

I don't know where my copy is, so I can't check, but all those figures are supposed to be based on Perez's art in "History of the DC Universe".

Why do I have a feeling that the person or persons responsible for doing the write-up/copy for these figures are mistaking the History of the DC Universe 2-part series George drew back in 1986 for the History of the DC Universe origins back-up featurette from the more current 52 limited series.

Every time I think I've seen the ugliest action figures ever, some more come along to prove me wrong.  That's the ugliest Superman I've ever seen.
